Plextor PX-NAS2 Mini Server
April 13, 2010 | Server | Comments OffPlextor announced a 2-Bay Network Attached Storage (NAS) device, called Plextor PX-NAS2. The Plextor PX-NAS2 allows two hard drives in the form factor of 3.5 inches and up to 4TB of capacity. The front panel of the PX-2-bay NAS NAS2 includes status LEDs, and a USB port.
Plextor PX-NAS2 NAS is equipped with gigabit Ethernet and can operate as an HTTP / FTP server or iTunes. It is designed for small businesses and home office (SOHO). It sports two USB 2.0 ports and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) 1.5 that allows you to connect to the CE product.
The NAS will be available next month. Size of the new Plextor PX-NAS 2-Bay NAS2 135.4 × 120.3 × is 254.5 mm. Cost of the Plextor PX-NAS2 diskless has a price tag of 179 €, with two 500 GB and 1 TB HDD is € 285 and € 389 respectively
