DSS consists of five essential elements: the controller, NAND Flash, printed circuit board (PCB), the housing / accommodation and of course the all important firmware. The reason most SSDs look the same now because they might actually be in some situations. Why am I telling you all this? Because we come to a point on the SSD market, where it becomes difficult to distinguish between readers.

DSS Mushkin Callisto series of sequential read speeds of up to 285MB / s sequential write speeds of up to 275 MB / sec These figures are impressive thanks to the fact that the series of SSDs Callisto comes with Sandforce SF-1200 controller. The Sandforce SF-1222 has been a ton of attention these days on the hardware review sites, as is the same controller found on many readers now.
